“East Bay Construction is a wonderful company! After we moved into our home on the waterfront of the Lynnhaven River, we immediately wanted to improve on the beautiful site. We decided to add a bulkhead and pier to the property. We researched East Bay and found nothing but positive comments. We personally reviewed their work in the local area and were impressed.
A waterfront consultant worked with East Bay to help us with city permits and making sure the design met regulations. The owner of the company, Joe Burkett, met with me many times to help create the best design for our project. We created a wonderful outdoor area on the water. We built the bulkhead and pier along with a floating dock, two boat lifts, and a davit for jet skis. East Bay also works with dredging companies which assisted us with improving the depth under the boat lifts.
When the project was over, we were very satisfied. East Bay does quality work. Also, they stand behind their work on follow up maintenance and adjustments or repairs, if needed. We have been so happy that we have hired them to come back and make improvements over the years.
After working hard all day at work and school, Joe and East Bay Construction have created a wonderful relaxation area for our family to participate in fishing or crabbing, kayaking, jet ski-ing, boating and tubing-- or just even sit and enjoy the amazing Virginia Beach sunsets. We are very grateful for our beautiful “waterworld.”
